Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Payroll Tax Department with general ledger reports and account reconciliations.
  • Responsible for accounting processes for the payroll tax department, including and not limited to: weekly posting of journal entries, weekly reconciliation of treasury payments to G/L, and monthly G/L account reconciliation of 52 payroll tax accounts.
  • Responsible for downloading reports from weekly Oracle payroll processing to support tax filing and support and assist with the quarterly tax reconciliations and quarterly unemployment tax submittal requirements.
  • Assist with various tax projects as tax regulations are mandated and filing requirements change.
  • Assist with Sarbanes documentation and information gathering.
  • Assist with W-2 testing, and year-end tax preparation and filing.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of past month and year end close experience, journal entry and reconciliation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are highly preferred.
  • Journal entry and reconciliation experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or relatable field is strongly preferred.
