The Dairy/Frozen Team Leaders are responsible for the daily operation of an individual store Dairy & Frozen departments.  Stocking, cleaning, ordering, and maintaining dairy department and providing excellent customer service at all times.  Responsible for achieving all goals and budgets set forth by the company.  Responsible for managing Team Members within the department.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)

 

  • Proactive coaching and ongoing development of self and team members
  • Cooperates with corporate directives and corrects issues immediately
  • Delegates and follows up on daily tasks
  • Enforces Policies and Procedures
  • Maintains a safe working environment
  • Responsible for financial management including but not limited to inventory control, shrink, and payroll
  • Achieve Sales and Gross Profit Projections
  • Assist in Personnel Management
  • Observes and Obeys all federal, state, and local laws that govern day to day operations
  • Monitor punches to ensure team members are paid properly
  • Maintains vendor relationship
  • Oversees training and development of team members
  • Provides clear and effective communication to store team members and corporate office
  • Maintains positive store morale
  • Demonstrates and demands a high level of customer service
  • Completes all necessary administrative paperwork


           

Requirements

EDUCATION/AGE:

High School Diploma or GED

 

            EXPERIENCE:

            5 years related job experience in retail management preferred.

            SKILLS:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for supervision of a store dairy and frozen department.

 

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Body Positions: Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Body Movements: Walking, turning head and torso, bending arms, wrists and fingers, squatting, kneeling, reaching over head. Must be capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Body Senses: Must have full use of eyes and ears, full power of speech.

 

TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:    

Language: Must be able to understand and communicate in English verbally and be able to read all necessary information pertaining to he position.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

Work will be done primarily in a climate controlled store and warehouse environment. Storage cases and walk in boxes are kept at appropriately cold temperatures in which you will be required to perform certain tasks. Because of the nature of products sold, the store itself is kept colder than normal
