Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a Chair for the Department of General Pediatrics. The Department has over 100 pediatric providers in 25 locations throughout Northeast Ohio. The Chair will oversee active programs in complex care, adolescent medicine, outreach, and in particular the development of innovative Pediatric Population Management Care Models. This position will administratively report to the Chair of the Pediatric Institute.

Primary responsibilities will include maximizing the clinical, educational and research potential of our Primary care pediatricians. This includes a focus on pediatric clinical excellence, process improvement, practice growth, patient and provider satisfaction, community engagement, patient centered medical home accreditation, pediatric medical neighborhood alignment, and the integration of teaching, research and scholarship within a clinical practice setting. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with experience working within a clinically integrated network and a demonstrated ability to engage multidisciplinary teams. Applicants should have an excellent record of clinical service, teaching and scholarship with experience in leadership, mentoring of faculty and program development. Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics and eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio is required.
