About this job

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Scheduling and staffing for various sites on Maui
  • Supervise Security Officers assigned to area client contracts
  • Perform physical checks of unmanned sites
  • Dispatch duties to include post checks and complete incident reports
  • Support in creating site surveys, post orders, emergency staffing
  • Download, review, and distribute Secure Trax reports

Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a valid state-required Guard License issued by the State of Hawaii
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experience in a supervisory/management role

Skills Required

  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
