Senior Helpers focuses on disease management such as Alzheimer's through our Senior Gems Training and approach to those afflicted with Alzheimer's and Dementia.We will train you to provide the very best care for these clients as well as those with Parkinson's disease, Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, and a multitude of other challenges those in the Senior Community face.Senior Helpers employees are key to assisting seniors in remaining in their homes while conquering the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer's Care
- Parkinson's Care
- Transportation
Requirements to be an employee:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity, kindness, respect and patience is a MUST
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
- Be at least 18 years old
- Excellent ability to communicate with office staff a must
- Self-starter with initiative - THER IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO
