Brand Ambassador - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized individual, capable of exhibiting a professional appearance and attitude.  Able to work independently with limited direct supervision and continually add value to corporate and customer business needs.

You will implement merchandising programs at assigned national and local retail outlets such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Costco, BJ’s, as well as various grocery and hardware chains. Provide a variety of sales support activities and customized customer product knowledge training as directed by manager.

Primary Responsibilities of the Brand Ambassador

• Provide sales support activities such as sales calls and product surveys at various retail outlets to provide product assortment options, special programs, customized product knowledge training.  

• Maintain product for in store displays, including activities such as transporting products between stockroom and sales floor with equipment (i.e. pallet jack, cart); replenishing, facing out, and rotating products; resolving inventory discrepancies; building, changing, and expanding product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and evaluating/processing damaged or defective product per established policies

• Provide customer service to consumers and store personnel by identifying and resolving concerns, answering questions and/or providing appropriate Customer Service phone numbers for resolution, locating product, responding to assistance requests, and communication of new product releases and promotions.

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Brand Ambassador

• Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching at the waist; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees.

• Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.  Product loads are subject to Lonza procedural guidelines.

• Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

• Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities

• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Responsible, safe driving ability of a minimum of 5 hours during the workday

• Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday

• Ability to walk a minimum of 3 miles during the workday

Qualifications of the Brand Ambassador

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, sales & customer service or equivalent business experience will be considered

• Confirmed competency in basic Microsoft software programs: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Team player with great communication skills and provides timely submissions

• Poise and professionalism while interfacing with customers and internal personnel

• Great organizational skills with a commitment to timely administrative updates

• Personal access to internet, email with proficiency in Microsoft office products

• Ability to work autonomously with a great work ethic
