POSITION PURPOSE
This position?s primary job responsibility is to provide application development leadership in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle without supervision. Collaborate with clients to document requirements, develop functional and technical specifications and perform testing of project components to ensure the business requirements have been satisfied. Must demonstrate technical aptitude, provide guidance to project team members and assist in designing efficient and scalable technical solutions.
In addition to the technical aspects of the job, a Project Leader will manage, plan, and actively participate in all Software Development Life Cycle activities for approved strategic projects. This includes documenting and managing the project scope and functional and technical design specifications, determining the resources required, defining the project schedule, assigning tasks, project communications, implementation, production turnover and post implementation support.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Possess deep and expert knowledge on IBI?s application suite and infrastructure and provides guidance to staff on enhancing and supporting the same.
? Translate functional requirements into technical design on complex projects.
? On a project may perform reviews to ensure non-functional requirements have been satisfied, as it relates to supportability, scalability, stability and security of data and systems.
? Proficient at developing and executing complex integrated test plans.
? Prepare weekly status reports and maintain project Estimation Model.
? Ensure project tasks and deliverables meet requirements, are completed on schedule and meet the goal of zero defects.
? Manage entire project communications in a timely manner to appropriate levels and escalates issues as needed to keep project on track.
? Utilize the lifecycle methodology throughout all phases of the project.
? Establish and manage relationships with application software vendors when appropriate.
? Lead project team members and provides performance feedback to management. Provide immediate feedback as needed to team members to insure project success.
? Seek new information about business and technology through reading, networking, seminars and classes.
? Manage project scope, provide guidance and direction to team and drive project schedules and deliverables to completion.
? Maintain project documentation, including project initiation requests and lifecycle documents, utilizing approved tools.
? Coordinate with all areas within IT to ensure that all project components (operating systems, hardware, software, training etc) are successfully integrated and deployed.
? Determine and request resource skill set requirements and assign tasks appropriately.
? Operate as a role model, motivating and providing coaching, direction and training to project team members

Reports to Project Manager.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

? Overall knowledge of IBI application architecture plan, investigates and continually seeks to improve work flow processes and build operational efficiencies.

? Demonstrate knowledge of business processes and the application of technology in achieving business objectives.
? Expert knowledge of project management methodology and Systems Development Life Cycle practices.
? Responsible for reviewing all project documentation for accuracy and completeness and to insure business requirements are satisfied.
? Display strong facilitation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
? Self-motivated and able to work independently, practicing sound judgment.
? Able to direct/supervise the work of others providing constant feedback so that team members may realize their full potential.
