Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented engineer to join our organization in an internship during the summer of 2017. This position is within Pratt & Whitney's Materials and Processes Engineering organization based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
During this internship you will be assisting the Materials and Processes Engineering staff supporting commercial, military and APU products produced at the WPB site. The activities of the staff include: Failure Analysis, Drawing Review and Approval, New Materials Development and Material Specification and Product Review. As an intern you will be assigned specific tasks and will document your activities and prepare recommendations based on your research and findings. Qualifications Required Qualifications
Applicant must be a US Citizen due to government requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated experience working effectively in teams both as a leader and participant.
Education Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with a 3.0 minimum grade point average.
