SUMMARY

This position requires the ability to administrate basic server systems in both physical and virtual environments, operate at an entry level of proficiency in administration. Provide administration of an Active Directory environment. Support project staff, and users on server hardware based business problems and active directory. Provide customer production and developer support using service desk ticketing system and tools. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date followed.

Position will support business department(s) and system(s). This position is expected to address basic business processes. Should be able to work in a team environment and resolve problems and proactively communicate. The security risk level for this position is high; therefore, this role may be subject to additional and ongoing background screening requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Call Management

1. Customer service skills

2. Support ticket creation

3. Support ticket routing

II. Analysis and Problem Management

1. Document resolution procedures

2. Monitor system performance and integrity

III. Operational Support

1. Provide day-to-day support for production systems

2. Expected to take a supporting role in day-to-day production support

3. Follow server standards and policies

4. Follow standards, policies and procedures pertaining to change management and server systems

IV. Project Complexity

1. Responsible for support with team members on a project

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Associate's degree in related field and 4-plus years related experience; OR, Bachelor's degree in related field and internship experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Microsoft Operating Systems or Linux Operating System

* Microsoft Active Directory

* Print and File Services

* Able to Monitor Systems Center Operations Manager

* Understanding of Enterprise Policy Orchestrator
