Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall operations of Food & Nutritional Services. Actively participates with other hospital managers and leaders in obtaining solutions to a more efficient delivery of health services. Directly supervises, advises, and directs the actions of all personnel. Ensures quality food is prepared and maintains positive working relationships with other departments, physicians, and other members of the health care network are maintained. Performs all functions in an honest, ethical and legal manner.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licensure: Certified Dietary Manager

Experience: One year's experience in a clinical setting.

Certifications: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).

Other: Must demonstrate effective human relations and communication skills. Ability to work with a variety of departments and coordinate resolutions in an effort to improve patient care and quality of department. Must be able to trouble shoot equipment repairs. Must be able to identify and rapidly resolve problems which may affect patient care.Use of desk top computers, copiers, faxes, and general office & kitchen equipment. Must be able to efficiently use equipment present in the department. Develop and maintain hospital budget while operating within those guidelines.

Preferred Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Preferred Licensure: Registered Dietician preferred.

Preferred Experience: Management skills helpful.
