Qualities Needed for the Position
- Efficiency in MS Office suite, QuickBooks, and Outlook experience is a plus
- Enthusiasm to learn and to make an impressionable contribution to the company
- Ability to multi task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact professionally in meeting other employees’, customers, and suppliers’ requests
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up
- Creating bills, invoices, journal entries, accruals, and credits
- Receiving payment from customers and processing deposits
- Contacting customers on past due receivables
- Assist in preparation of accounts payable check run and electronic filing Monthly Reconciliations
- Partial sales support role with pricing analysis responsibilities, lead research, and new customer setup
- Assisting with supplier selection in the sales process
- Assist the controller on special projects
