Mig Welders needed immediately for Manufacturing company within the Visalia area!!!!!!

Welders will be responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum an stainless steel parts using a TIG and /or MIG process. He or she will also be required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or suing s welding procedure specification
  • Read and interpret blur prints an d/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
  • TIG and MIG weld Steel, aluminum an stainless steel components based on the specification of the blueprints and/or drawings
  • Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor
  • Check -in material and produce quality work
  • Maintain good working relationships with other departments and employees
  • Request and order the necessary materials an equipment
  • Develop fixtures and jigs for new designs
  • Fabricate quality parts and meet required shipping schedule
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean working environment
  • Communicate recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality
  • Carry out other duties reasonable within capability as required by the Machine Shop Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications:
  • High School or GED Diploma required; Associate's Degree, Certification, or Vocational training in related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year working experience in Welding
  • Experience with TIG and MIG welding
  • Knowledge of the standard tools, materials, motions, and practices of welding trade are required
  • Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum is preferred
  • Understand and apply welding techniques
  • Work quickly and skillfully with the hands
  • Accept responsibility for the work preformed
  • Visualize what the finished product should look like
  • Follow workplace protocol to ensure a healthy, safe, and organized environment
  • Work well under own initiative and in a team environment
  • Lift up to 40 pounds or more
  • Work Overtime based on business need
