Job Description:
- Handle all set-ups on 3-4 CNC Machines (Mills and Lathes)
- Work with very small parts. A lot of day will be spent working under a microscope.
- Responsible for supervision of 3-4 operators. If all setups are complete will operate equipment.
- make correct tool selection for the parts being made and be able to sharp tools. compile a tooling list required to improve change overtimes between setups for one job to the next, the goal here is to minimize setup times for low volume high mix products. use correct measuring equipment i.e. Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Calipers and other related equipment to verify the product has been manufactured to standards.
