Material Handler with Forklift Experience ($10.60/hr) - Full-time / Part-time

Flex in Morrisville, NC is seeking a shipping and receiving associate for a split shift (12PM to 8:45PM)

This associate will perform data entry and on occasion use the forklift to pick orders.

PURPOSE:
Responsible for performing the physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, cost and type of material stocked and issued, and prepares material requisitions.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:
*Familiar with and understands basic fundamentals of warehouse/stockroom operation
*Works from requisition orders or stock lists to pull required items.
*Uses a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit and inventory accuracy.
*Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area.
*Processes returned items and both scheduled and unscheduled materials to/from stocking locations.
*Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued via MRP/ERP systems.
*Lifts heavy items and Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

*Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting and may audit kits for accuracy.
