About this job
Client in Deer Park, NY is in immediate need of an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler who can perform a wide range of electronic and mechanical assembly operations using assembly drawings, parts lists, work-instructions and wiring lists.
This is a temp to hire position – ideal for someone NOT working!
Some main duties include but are not limited to:
Hourly salary: $13.00 - $15.00 depending on experience
This is a temp to hire position – ideal for someone NOT working!
Some main duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly operations on product of varying complexity which may include but not limited to: thru-hole soldering, hand tools, testing equipment, working with wire bundles, pinning and crimping
- Work from paper and electronic work instructions, assembly drawings and bill of materials
- Use a variety of small hand tools as well as mechanical and air driven swaging equipment and power tools
- Test parts and products to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Minimum 2 years’ soldering experience (thru-hole)
- Minimum 2 years’ electronic production/assembly experience
- Familiar with IPC-A-610
- Read and speak English fluently
- Basic computer skills
Hourly salary: $13.00 - $15.00 depending on experience
