Chemical Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking an experience Chemical Operator for chemical distribution leader in the Dalton, Ga area. This opportunity would be a straight shift position, working a 12 hour shift with a rotating 3 on/ 4 off, 4 on/3 off schedule. Pay will vary depending upon experience, but will be between $17 and $20/hr.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for monitoring chemical reactors in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Will work with monitoring gauges, make minor mechanical adjustments, perform minor chemical formulations, and perform chemical transfers to and from reactor.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a chemical operator working monitoring chemical reactions.
• Experience using dual control systems and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, working both indoors and outdoors in varying elements.
