Concierge
The knowledge of a great Concierge is the expectation of our Residents when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate Residents' needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay.
Hotel Overview:
Located between the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the quiet shores of Choctawatchee Bay in northwest Florida is Fairmont Heritage Place, Inspiration, Miramar Beach. These elite, three bedroom residences are exquisite in every detail - a perfect mix of traditional southern design and contemporary aesthetic to make the most of coastal living.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Club Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* Assist residents with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require during their stay
* Assist residents regarding community facilities in an informative and helpful way
* Ensure residents are familiar with the community and their home by providing detailed tours and detailed directions regarding residence functions
* Conduct pre-arrival and departure residence inspections
* Coordinate residence housekeeping and maintenance
* Conduct simple residence maintenance tasks
* Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
* Follow all safety policies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Previous customer related experience an asset
* Must possess a professional presentation
* Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
* Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
* Ability to focus attention on resident needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
* Ability to work on weekends and evenings
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
* Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
* Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
