Mechanic (Ride Tech II) - Full-time

Requirements and Competencies

 

• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent required
• A minimum of five years verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive or military
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and conveyor systems
• Possesses a valid Florida state drivers license and can adhere to company driving guidelines
• Must be able to pass a Certified Pool Operator Course (If placed at Adventure Island Water Park)
• Good written communication skills required to complete maintenance documentation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers
• Proven team player
• Possess professional quality tool set
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs of weight short distances
• Must be able to work on high steel or wood structures
• Must be able to wear a full body harness
• Must be able to be respirator trained
• Able to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions including cold and extreme heat

Primary Responsibilities

 

• Attraction inspection, maintenance and repair
• Attraction annual maintenance
• Comply with all safety standards
• Provide support for operators, supervision and management
