Press Operator, 17/hr - 18/hr

Aerotek is hiring for Press Operators for our client in Columbus. Our client is a manufacturer of structural connecting systems for wood, steel, masonry, concrete, and composite wood building construction.

Job Description:

The position consists of operating a metal stamping press for specific jobs. Candidates will be in charge of interpreting information from work orders and blueprints and manufacture the product. Candidates will learn to set up for each job and a large portion of the job is for them to load and pack parts under the direction and guidance of a supervisor.

Qualifications:

-1 year of Press Operation or Machine Operation experience

-Experience reading blueprints

-Ability to use micrometers, height gauges, and calipers
