Our Sushi department provides customers with a variety of delicious raw, cooked, and vegetable sushi rolls. In this position, you’ll play a valuable role by creating fresh sushi products for our case as well as made-to-order items for our customers, If you have a passion for sushi and are looking to develop your culinary skills and talents, this could be the role for you!

Seeking Candidates Who…

• Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Have experience in Sushi preparation in a high volume retail environment

  • Have knowledge of fish species

  • Have the ability to effectively communicate to customers and follow directions for recipes and detailed procedures

  • Possess culinary knife skills

    • One or more years experience working as a Sushi cook

    • Associates or Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts

    • Ability to produce 40 packages of high quality Sushi per hour

    • Experience cutting sashimi and sushi neta

    • Customer service experience preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting
