Position Purpose and Scope:
Work with regional planning, brand merchants
and production to drive global assortments and cross regional strategies by
ensuring SKU commonality Merchandising Area: Attends design and
merchandising meetings sharing EU selling information with US design and
Merchandising teams to brief them about what is performing in EU and which
styles are slow sellers;Attend all line writing
and sketch reviews to make sure EU needs are covered;Communicate specific
needs for EU market during both line plan creation and development process;Develop Europes sample
order for Handbags, Small leather goods (SLGs) and Belts for each marketCreate and manage a
calendar of important key dates for each market and upcoming buy datesCreate a costing line
sheet for Handbags, Small Leather Goods and Belts with all skus, images, US
retails and FOBs Facilitate the flow of
information between the US team and the EU team in order to compare properly
both selections; Create Handbag and SLG
assortment visuals for EU Selling tools;Along with the Sr. Dir.
of Merchandising, present the line and the specific European assortment to
major EU AccountsWork with Factory Outlet
Stores in Europe (FOE) to create their assortment and ensuring placement with
the Production teamManage DC transfers
between US Warehouse and the EU Distribution Center in order to fulfill
oversold unit requests Licensee Business: Creates assortment with
Director of MerchandisingCreates line sheets, look
books, and all information for production and sales teamOrganizes the market
calendar and rotation of marketDetermines order due
dates Compile score card for
Silk Scarves licenseePrices the assortments
and reviews with the Sr. Director of MerchandisingResolve any minimums
issues after orders are processedCreate
sales analysis reports and analyze product
Strong ability to manage
multiple tasks and deadlines Strong analytical,
organizational and communication skills Must be proficient in MS
excel, word and PowerPoint Highly detailed oriented
and ability to establish relations with teams Production or Product
Development background helpful
