About this job

This position will be located at this McDonald's Franchise organization's business office. This person will be the only employee in the office at this time. Compensation up to $16/hr based on experience.

This position will be involved in managing and performing the duties of the business office. This position is categorized as part time (20 - 25 hrs/wk) but may evolve into full time with some flexibility on the scheduling. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Part time/Full time
• Payroll processing & other HR responsibilities
• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
• Deposit Confirmations
• Monitor Daily cash controls
• Open, sort and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and packages
• Complete Gov’t reports, Unemployment claims, employment verifications
• Manage office operations including answering phone, messaging, maintaining office supplies,
etc.
• Maintain employee uniform inventories & issue uniforms to employees
• Ensure all invoices & bills are paid on time.
• Maintain office file system including invoices, employee files, vendor files, etc.
• Ensure that the Office and Reception area are organized and clean

Requirements

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience in bookkeeping
* Proficient experience with Microsoft Office suite
* Proficient in A/P, Financial Statement preparation, General Ledger a plus
* Possess an associate's or college degree in accounting or equivalent education.
University/Bachelor degree in accounting/finance is a definite asset.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must have reliable, dependable and stable work history
* Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must be detail oriented
* Must be able to pass a background check
