Summary
The Freight Supervisor is responsible for:Freight processing and stocking functions during non-selling and/or overnight hours.Training team members to execute all activities at required production levels.Supervising and directing merchandising and replenishment team to:
* efficiently execute daily work assignments;
* maintain backroom organization;
* maintain 100% ad in stock and merchandise placement;
* ensure plan-o-gram execution, PCN execution, RTV execution, and policy compliance.
Consulting with store leaders (MOD) regarding inventory discrepancy and product flow issues.Monitoring team member work practices and providing corrective action in partnership with Store Manager when necessary.Following company procedures and notification processes.Annual physical inventory of the store - sales floor and back room.Meeting or beating financially budgeted shrink expectations.
Qualifications:
* Be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.
* Successfully pass a background check.
* Have 2-3 years related retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Prior experience in merchandise receiving, handling and stocking in a retail, warehouse or distribution environment.
* Be proficient in the use of computers including basic knowledge of POS system and Windows-based computer applications.
* Be available to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Have a willingness to learn and develop fabric and craft product knowledge.
