Oversees the daily operation of assigned Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) functions and supervises team members in execution of those functions. Root causes and analyzes operating methods and procedures to identify opportunities for inventory control and total quality through bin accuracy tools and process audits; determines methods and procedures to use and implements those procedures, inclusive of kaizen and continuous improvement events. Implements innovative and creative ways to achieve desired results in the areas of Bin/Location Accuracy (BA), Order Completion Rate (OCR), Inventory Adjustments, Process Auditing and the growth and development of team members.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManages a safe workplace by advocating safety training and accident preparedness.Supervises team members within activities such as Bin Accuracy audits to achieve results in inventory integrity and accuracy, measured against a goal defects per million opportunities (DPMO)Oversees ICQA programs to meet or exceed inventory control and quality assurance metrics: Bin Accuracy, Order Completion Rate (inclusive of label defects and inventory record defects), and Inventory Adjustments (reported as both net and gross with reason codes for adjustments) Evaluates Bin Accuracy tools to identify gaps in operating processes impacting inventory control and total quality, decides appropriate methods and procedures to use and implements those procedures.Performs root cause analysis on any defects within leading metrics.Performs process audits within Inbound and Outbound operational departments to validate root causes in defects within Bin Accuracy and Order Completion Rate.Leads kaizen and continuous improvement events with operational departments to stop-gap process control and quality issues.Ensures bin audit, bin verification, and problem solving tasks are set, managed, and completed each week.Collaborates across operational departments to drive quality goals and meet inventory control metrics while fostering an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.Drives specific job function definition and accountability to ensure defect resolution within a specific Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure product flow physically and systematically through the building.Ensures operational leadership and hourly teams understand processes that impact building quality performance and adhere to stated best practices.Leverages headquarters ICQA team and tools to drive total quality and continuous improvement initiatives forward.Takes appropriate counseling and corrective action, in partnership with Human Resources, when team member performance is not meeting expectations.If interested, please apply online at https://track.talentbrew.com?jobmediaid=194578&typeid=1
