About this job

Help support our family of residents to be as independent and successful as possible in our home-like environment. We offer ample on the job paid training with plenty of opportunity to grow and specialize within the department. Team members start as Special Care Assistants and many choose to cross train and specialize in areas such as Medication Administration, Activity Therapy, Personal Exercise or Dining and Nutrition. Preferred candidates will be self-directed, patient, observant, flexible, intuitive and have outstanding communication skills. CNA or previous caregiving experience can be helpful, but is not required. This position requires exceptional teamwork with other staff members to ensure we meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. In a typical day, our team assists residents with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing and personal hygiene; walk with residents around our beautiful campus; visit, laugh and dine with residents; reassure and comfort residents; and assist them to create quality moments and find meaningful ways to spend their days.
