The Marketing Intern position will work in our UnitedHealthcare National Accounts line of business, which is focused on supporting large employers with health benefits solutions for their employees. The intern will support multi-channel marketing planning and execution, as well as market research projects, data analysis and database management.Primary Responsibilities:

Assisting in the strategy, planning and execution of national events, sponsorships, meetings, webinars, marketing materials, promotional items and metrics management
Supporting our internal client management and business development teams with large customers, prospects, consultants and business groups
Work closely with internal teams as well as external vendors on planning and execution
Assisting other product, marketing and data analysis leaders with special projects as neededFulltime for summer 2017; Additional opportunity to stay on for Fall, Winter and Spring 2017: Part-time (approximately 15 - 20 hours per week; flexible days and times to work around class schedule)

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field. Other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interest in Marketing. Junior level preferred.
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
Must be available to Intern during the Summer 2017 (preferred Summer 2017 through Spring 2018)
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
