Air Duct Cleaning Technician Apprentice

Apprentice will learn the "in's and out's" of daily Kohmar life. Reporting directly to the Management and Lead Technician running the truck. This position allows for "hands on" training on residential and commercial job sites. The Apprentice will be mentored by the Lead Tech during this time; learning how each job runs as well as setup/pack up, daily truck rituals and daily job expectations for the Assistant Technician position.

Entry level guidelines:

• 90 day trial period.
• After 90 day trial- performance evaluation.
• Employee will arrive promptly, dressed in clean uniform and ready to work.

• Employee will work on residential and commercial job sites depending on scheduling.
• Perform duct cleaning at residential locations.
• Field service experience.
• Ability to learn on-the-job.
•  Will be responsible for building a lasting relationship with our customers
• Interact with customers and coworkers on a professional level.
• Responds to customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Tracks and keeps Manager informed of client's changing needs and requests
• Able to perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical controls.
• Employee must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Requires some physical labor on a daily basis in various weather conditions.
• Employee must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (Ladder work, Crawlspace work, Attic work etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Background screening will be done prior to employment.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen/test.
• Any HVAC or Restoration experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
• Must have minimum High School Diploma.
• Must provide past job experience and referrals.
