Overview:
Responsible for increasing Price Chopper guests' awareness and acceptance of the items they are sampling. This position requires pro-active selling of products. This may include displaying product for sale and preparing food items. This position provides friendly and helpful 6 Star Service to guests and Teammates
Responsibilities:
Increasing Price Chopper guests' awareness and acceptance of the items being sampled.
Completing all necessary paperwork for every demonstration. Forms must be signed by Store Management and store stamped before they are returned to the Samples & Sales Office.
Educating customers, preparing, cooking, displaying, and selling products used in demonstrations.
Cleaning and returning all Store Demonstration Equipment to the designated area at the conclusion of every demonstration day.
Adhering to all company Sanitation Guidelines pertaining to demonstrations/food preparation.
Gathering all coupons, recipes and supplies necessary for demonstration. This may include locating product to build a display to sell from during the sampling event.
Following all Corporate Policies and Procedures, including the procedures outlined in the Demonstration Guidelines Manual.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic cooking skills.
Strong ability to speak clearly, read directions, and write reports fluently and legibly
Some experience working with the public preferably food service or retail sales.
Strong communication skills
Flexible work schedule
Physical Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
Store environment
Constant standing, reaching and lifting, pushing and pulling
Moderate physical effort (up to 30 lbs.)
Occasional exposure to cool temperatures
