Inpatient Occupational Therapist- Per Diem- 8 hours to 24 hours a week!
* OccupationalTherapists are a key spoke in therehab team of OT, PT, SLP, Nursing and Medical staff. We spend an average of1-3 weeks treating a wide clinical caseload such as: stroke, spinal cordinjury, brain injury, various neurological disorders, rheumatoid arthritis,osteoarthritis, amputation, joint replacement, fractures, multiple trauma,cardiac conditions, and pulmonary conditions.
* We useevidence-based practice guidelines totreat our patients. We utilize our clinical outcomes to asses and improveour treatment interventions and programs.
* You willuse standard and advanced therapy technologies- depending on hospital location, some equipment used suchas Auto Ambulators, Bioness, Interactive Metronome, Hand Mentor, SmartStep,Anodyne, Wii and CAPs may be available.
* Helping you becomea better therapist is critical to our success - You will be paired with mentors; attend in-house aswell as external educational programs. The treatment team is made up of fulltime therapists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists and medical staff; a greatway to learn beyond your own discipline.

* Must be in possessionof current state OT license on or before the first day of employment.
* CPR certificationpreferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
Education, Training and Experience:
* Successfulcompletion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or one that isdetermined to be substantially equivalent to a U.S. accredited program by anappropriate certifying agency preferred.
Physical Requirements:
* Good visual acuity andability to communicate
* Ability to lift,lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds ofmedical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning ofpatients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/orpulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements
