The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the planning, installation and deployment of Café Rio’s core IT infrastructure - including networks, servers, PC’s, Phones, and alarms in both our corporate office and our 100+ retail locations. The Sr. Systems Administrator develops and maintains IT security best practices and manages IT systems security policies within the organization. This individual oversees software license compliance and manages the backup and disaster recovery infrastructure to ensure data integrity and mitigate data loss. This role is also responsible for responding to service outages and supporting other IT roles as needed. This individual is forward thinking and will solve for the future technical growth and expansion needs of the Company.

Responsibilities
• Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves to completion hardware, software, or other network and systems issues.
• Coordinates the deployment of computer programs and systems
• Configure, monitor, and audit companywide software licensing
• Designs, configures, and tests new hardware, system applications, and operating system software
• Partners with supervisor to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect company data, software applications, and hardware
• Plan, test, deploy and maintain enterprise data backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
• Partners with other team members to help solve computer and/or systems issues
• Partners with supervisor to determine the future needs of the company and identify systems and functionality needed to support continued growth and expansion
• Create and manage relationships with multiple vendors and service providers. Maintain service level agreements with vendors as required, manage vendor deployment scenarios and timelines.
• Participates in technical support rotation and on-call activities as needed

Requirements

Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field of study
* 3-5 years of experience managing core IT systems within a predominantly Microsoft environment, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry supporting multiple locations in various states
* Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as PCI, SOX as well as IT specific ISO/IEC Standards
* Current/recent Microsoft professional certifications desired MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft certified system administrator/system engineer)
* Comprehensive knowledge of current server operating systems such as Microsoft Server 2012/2012 R2/2016, Hyper-V virtualization in a clustered environment, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server/Print Server, Remote Access Services, Windows 10, Office 365 email services, Single Sign On authentication services, Enterprise Anti-Virus applications, Enterprise backup solutions
* In-depth understanding of networking routing protocols and associated services to effectively address and resolve network issues.
* Firewall, Router and switch management including VPN's ,VLAN's, NAT etc.
* Experience planning, deploying and managing VOIP/SIP based communications systems
* Customer service oriented; exhibits high level of responsiveness; readily understands and anticipates client needs
* Maintains high level of flexibility; effectively and quickly adjusts to changing plans and priorities
* Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal/external clients & service providers
* Ability to analyze information, evaluate available options, and choose the best solution to solve problems
* Proactively keeps up-to-date with new technologies and how to best apply them in their current role
