POSITION SUMMARY
Performs imaging and quantitative data analysis to produce high quality Nuclear Diagnostic patient exams. Provides patient care utilizing appropriate measures relative to NRC and State compliance. Learns new skills to enhance job knowledge and fulfills personal growth. Provides accurate documentation of all pertinent information. Maintains clear, concise, and timely communication with all compliance procedures. Utilizes equipment to include SPECT and planar gamma cameras, computers and PC's and their software. Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires and is requested. Performs procedures on patients in any age group from pediatric through geriatric. Performs Q.C. and maintains records as required by NRC, State, and JCAHO.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Satisfactory completion of approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
2. Meets the requirements by ARRT or CNMTCB.
3. Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMCTB), American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
