Job Summary:

General Manager has control of all operation aspects of assigned store and works a regularly scheduled daily shift at an assigned store location or may on occasion work a fluctuated schedule at one or multiple store locations as determined by management. Works with Area Supervisor on store management and operations including but not limited to: following store budget and understanding weekly report card, proper food order preparation, employee scheduling, equipment functioning, increasing sales, customer satisfaction, recruiting and retention, employee management training, counseling and terminations, inventory order and monitoring, compliance with all audits and inspections, daily cash management and store cleanliness/safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Timely and accurately prepare store food order
  • Recruit, interview and hire using Company recruiting process
  • Timely and accurately prepare store schedule, submit to Area Supervisor and communicate to employees
  • Mentor, coach, listen and counsel employees, properly follow up with employees & explain policies
  • Complete employee performance reviews periodically and communicate concerns to Area Supervisor
  • Recommend/communicate suspensions terminations of employees to management and Human Resources
  • Consistently use company tools to support store training (CARDS, ORG, job helpers, productivity goals, classes, etc.)
  • Participate, arrive timely and show a positive attitude at any and all job meetings, training and employee meeting and training sessions
  • Follow during every shift the Hot-N-Ready promise by serving every customer with a smile and a perfect pizza in less than 30 seconds every time
  • Ensure that customer service meets LC and PET standards by following procedures and utilizing all company tools
  • Verify that all Hot-N-Ready products are timed properly and discarded upon expiration
  • Maintain and adhere to all internal and external (Federal/State) safety and health regulations
  • Ensure all LC and PET standards and procedures are communicated and followed every shift
  • Verify store is cleaned according to LC and PET specifications every shift and the entire store meets health department regulations, as well as LC standards. Clean and inspect that appropriate tools, equipment, products are properly and safely being used when following opening shift and closing checklists
  • Stock and organize supplies and inventory in a safe manner according to LC and PET store stocking and inventory storage procedures
  • Always follow PET cash management policies and procedures and communicate any theft concerns to Area Supervisor and Corporate accounting department
  • Perform all required paperwork accurately, timely, legibly and properly
  • Manage labor costs on a daily basis utilizing productivity goals, hourly reads, breaks and employee scheduling
  • Manage food costs on a daily basis by understanding fluctuation of daily sales volumes, product expiration, staffing, overall store performance and customer demands and control food costs by following all product specifications and build levels of both prepped and Hot-N-Ready products.
  • Promote sales building by following customer service standards and participating on local store marketing.
  • Arrive to work neat and clean, in proper uniform, as well as upholding uniform standards for all employees.
  • Always maintain a positive and professional attitude while creating a wholesome, fun environment for the entire team of employees
  • Maintain adaptability, accept change and alter direction according to job and management needs
  • Maintain absolute integrity at all times and lead through example
  • Communicate in a clear, open, honest and professional way at all times to employees and customers
  • Support other stores and shifts when requested by management
  • Assist in a positive and professional manner to any and all other jobs assigned to you by management

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED completion
  • 1-2 years management experience in restaurant/fast food management
  • SafeServ certified
  • Complete all required LC and PET policy and procedures store training and pass all required assessments in accordance with LC and PET management assessment guidelines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and timely with management, colleagues and customers.
  • Display leadership and initiative with a positive attitude to management, colleagues and customers.
