KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of mechanical assemblies.

* Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.

* Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.

* Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.

* Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.

* Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

* High School Diploma or Equivalent.

* General Fishing Tool experience and knowledge.

* Must have some forklift experience, certification preferred but not required.

* Mechanical Aptitude 3 years in a Mechanical type position

* Experience with repairing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in the shop

* Ability to work independently and without supervision

* Ability to effectively lead a team of professionals

* Experience working with Safety manuals and following safety instructions

* Must be willing to work occasional weekends and overtime

* Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.

* Advanced computer skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

* Technician familiar with Whipstock assembly

* Work experience with spears, grapples, and general Fishing tools.

* Familiarity with drill pipe connections

* Experienced use of torque machines

* Able to read diagrams and basic knowledge of SAP functions.

* 2 years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or minimum

* Ability to work well and communicate well with others
