Service Coordinator

 

Objective: The Service Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of administrative duties within a fast paced office setting. Office personnel are expected to greet and welcome all visitors and field incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner as well as demonstrate knowledge of and reflect the core values of Home Instead Senior Care.

Primary Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner, as well as distribute incoming calls to appropriate staff members
Communicate client and CAREgiver concerns to owner and appropriate key players as appropriate
Assist in scheduling of CAREgivers for effective utilization of staff  as delegated
Participate in weekly key player meetings
Must be able to establish good working relationships with CAREgivers, colleagues, management and other franchise staff. 
Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are upheld
Participate in on call duties as required


Secondary Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong verbal and written skills
Ability to listen effectively
Possess the ability to work independently as well as a team to meet deadlines
Demonstrate discretion, integrity and maintain confidentiality consistent with Home Instead Senior Care standards, policy and expectations
Ability to organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly work. Be time efficient.


Education/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma
One year of office experience
Equivalent work experience may be considered
Must possess a Driver's License
Successfully pass background study
