About this job

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Screen and interview applicants to determine their eligibility and suitability for employment
  • Liaise with Site Managers to record openings and track status of the requests
  • Liaise with Site Managers and trainer regarding training and placement of new recruits
  • Ensure compliance with G4S policy and employment laws regarding pre-hire screening
  • Research no/low cost recruiting methods
  • Research, organize, and attend local job fairs
  • Create and maintain outreach relationships
  • Provide assistance to Human Resource team with Affirmative Action and EEO requirements
  • Successfully navigate electronic application systems to process candidates for hire
  • Create reports, memos, letters and/or spreadsheets in business software such as Microsoft Office or Google office products
  • Multi-task and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously

Requirements

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to meet the requirements of a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of one year of verifiable recruiting experience in a high volume environment

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:         Office; indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected
