About this job
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Center (Blodgett)
* 32 Beds
* Nurse to Patient Ratio: 5 to 6 Patients to a Nurse (Subject to Change)
* Population: Very diverse! Every patient population within Spectrum Health. Highest patient population: stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant, trauma/ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury, VAD, and more.
* Orientation: Orientation is based on individual needs. The length can vary and be adjusted if needed.

We have a very team-oriented floor and environment, which includes strong relationships as an interdisciplinary team. Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - 1 year college education including clinical experience
Experience - 6 months of recent, relevant patient care experience
Licenses - Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
