Position: GGX Director
Overall Responsibility: To assist Golds Gym Management in the administration and delivery of the group exercise program.
Specific Functions:
- Hire, train, develop, evaluate, and terminate group exercise instructors.
- Role model professional standards among group exercise instructors and gym members.
- Monitor instructors to ensure that they are providing fun, motivating and safe group exercise classes.
- Create and maintain group exercise schedule.
- Plan and/or assist with the delivery special events.
- Promote group exercise program to new and current members.
- Track and report statistics for all group exercises classes using Club Count.
- Maintain up to date copies of instructor certifications.
- Be available to help substitute classes when necessary.
- Make decisions regarding class cancellations if necessary.
- Complete instructor payroll.
- Update the website when necessary.
- Utilize the Facebook page to promote group exercise classes.
