Barista/ Sales Associate

1denim has its foundation strongly rooted in the city of Los Angeles. Our factory employs members of the local community, many of whom have been with us for more than a decade. We pride ourselves on our family-like environment and integrity in service. Our flagship store located in Glendale has a unique combination of a cafe inside our clothing store!

1denim is 100% constructed in Los Angeles. We strive to offer honest pricing and quality products.

To produce premium denim without the steep markups that take advantage of the customer, followed by the promise to continue the family tradition and keep all denim manufacturing at home, right here in Los Angeles.

With this in mind, the 1dentifiers community was born. All part of the local community, our 1dentifiers believe denim is timeless and universal, down to the design, construction, and functionality of each piece. From the suitcases of a traveling film maker to the closet of a fashionista, each pair of 1denim jeans tells the story of the 1dentifier. We are a community that knows we shouldn't have to settle for quality that is underwhelming or overpay for what is labeled as premium.

The 1dentifiers' support of this community extends outside of the brand itself and they take pride in that 1denim products are being made in Los Angeles. With a vertical manufacturing factory right in our own neighborhood, 1denim can support the local economy, create jobs, and continue telling your story.

Sales Associate:

-Open/ close store

-Maintaining inventory

-Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention

-Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising

-Able to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Barista:

-Making and serving hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso (knowing how to create latte art is a plus!)

-Quick learner

-Processing customer orders

-Opening and closing the station

-Maintaining inventory

Job Requirements:

-Team oriented, positive, upbeat and friendly

-Excellent sales skills

-Verbal and written communication skills required

-Flexible schedule, and ability to work weekdays and weekend required

-Must be 18+ years old (High School Diploma preferred)

-Must have at least 6 months of experience as a barista or sales associate
