A successful Sr. Content Operations Specialist will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong project management skills, including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex business processes, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of management to present project status in a professional and effective manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of pay television industry a plus.

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to join the Programming Operations team as a Specialist or Senior Specialist. Our team is responsible for content management activities that support DISH Network’s multi-platform video business.

The Specialist/Senior Specialist has responsibility for operational support of the linear channels that make up DISH’s domestic and multicultural video businesses.  This role serves as a liaison between our programming partners and the internal business, legal and technical teams; managing all aspects of video operations and collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support processes related to the launch, maintenance and takedown of channels, collaborating with internal and external business partners in compliance with enterprise best practices and contractual guidelines.
• Monitor the progress of deliverables; keeping management, internal stakeholders and external business partners informed of progress and significant developments related to assigned projects.
• Perform a variety of administrative and tracking functions including troubleshooting, monitoring and reporting. Research complex issues and collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative solutions.
• Act as a cross-departmental liaison providing expert business knowledge to ensure the successful outcome of projects and initiatives.
