Clinical Resource Nurse - Full-time / Part-time

The Clinical Resource Nurse in the Transfer Center must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a nursing resource to physicians, staff, patients, and families for placement and coordination of patient flow. This person will demonstrate strong communication skills to function as a conduit for communication between the medical staff, nursing staff, referral sources and ancillary departments. This person will be a strong advocate and promoter of Patient and Family-Centered Care. This person will also possess excellent critical-thinking skills to be able to recognize priority patient situations requiring immediate attention, and support Medical Staff in admissions and transfer of patients. This person will possess excellent customer service skills and practice these on a consistent basis. Demonstrates the ability to meet the essential job functions of a Registered Nurse.

Must be Registered Nurse (RN) in South Dakota. Bachelors in Nursing preferred. Three years in clinical acute care preferred.
