Blue Seal Boiler Operator
Responsible for monitoring conditions of 2 water tube type boilers, 5 water & air cooled air compressors, fire pump systems, and other assorted facilities support equipment.
This is a 12 hour shift, 4 on/3 off schedule.
Job responsibilities
• Able to function as on watch employee for 2 water-tube type boilers, 5 air & water cooled air compressors, fire suppression components, among other powerhouse equipment.
• Check and record various measurements throughout the shift, administer and record several water samples, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, and repair equipment via overtime on non-watch hours.
• This position will require occasional lifting of over 50 lbs and frequent use of stairs & ladders.
• Submit, update and close out work orders into SAP as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Current New Jersey Blue Seal Boiler License.
• 5 years verifiable experience working in a powerhouse.
• LOTO trained

• Committed to the job
• Ability to work shifts and overtime are also required.
• Ability to follow Safety and Quality criteria.
• Good communication skills
