Education & Experience

• 6- 12 months of classroom experience preferred
• Lead Teachers must have a high school diploma as well as a CDA or higher, Preschool CDA preferred
• Assistant Teachers must have a high school diploma and all DCF required hours

• Provide a supportive and caring environment for children
• Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of the children
• Implement the curriculum provided with creativity
• Build and establish relationships with families
• Work effectively with diverse staff and families
• Demonstrates proper use of grammar and communication skills
• Capable to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• A willingness to learn and continue personal education
