Driver - Vail Resorts Retail Distribution Center - Full-time / Part-time

The Driver is responsible for all aspects of merchandise handling within a Level I Distribution Center for delivery to stores, which includes but is not limited to:

• Travel between specified locations to load and unload daily shipments via company vehicle
• Demonstrate accountability for all merchandise via a delivery log system
• Supervise vehicle maintenance 
• Work outside in all weather
• Elevate any safety issues to Management that may occur at a store or designated drop off/pick up locations in a timely manner
• Operate and maintain standard tools including hand tools, dolly carts, motorized equipment
• Adhere to all appropriate loss prevention measures to protect against damage or loss
• Picks orders and prepares shipments to be sent to stores
• Receives merchandise and processes merchandise according to standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education:  HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Licenses/Accreditations:  Must possess a valid US Driver’s license
• Computer Skills:  Basic computer skills with desire to improve
• Language(s) Skill:  English fluency
• Weight Lifted:  5 – 100 lbs
• Preferred Skills: 
  • Warehouse shipping/receiving background
  • Driving/delivery experience
  • Previous tagging/picking/processing work history
• Holidays/weekends/evenings may be required
