About this job
Requirements of a school bus driver:
Must have IN HAND: CDL Class B with P & S endorsements
Be at least 21 years of age
Clean driving record
Good Verbal Skills
Responsibilities:
Safely transport children
Be able to manage a diverse group of students age four to eighteen
Perform pre/post trip inspections
Assist students in the loading and unloading of bus
Typical work hours are 6:30-8:30 am and 2:30-4:30 pm
Early release days are ~11:30-1:30
PART TIME September to June ONLY 20-25 hours a week
Employment is based on the school district calendar (summers off)
Three weeks paid vacation
