About this job
-This position involves dealing with custom millwork
-Millwork for interior and exterior of homes, used as decorative trim, moldings, gutters, awnings etc.
-Will be mainly responsible for the packaging of product
-Packaging requires the ability to assemble and construct packaging for millwork
-Also required to cut materials on production line, using table saw or chop saw.
-If candidate has more carpentry skill they can be used in different capacities (more skilled jobs etc.).
-Must have ability to read tape measure and use basic hand tools
-Packaging is more or less like a picture frame (different widths/lengths)
-Assemble four sides of protective frame according to product
-Seal the corners of packaging with caulk
-Move product and packaging accordingly throughout warehouse
-Also responsible for loading and unloading material
-Material consists of 18ft. boards/repetitive lifting involved
-Move boards and stack boards for shipping
-Also responsible for using a staple gun
-Will staple labels to ends of boards
Also perform other duties as needed
Shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday but flexible with a start and end time
OT will be accumulated during the week
