Director Procurement & Inventory - Multiple Locations

The Director, Procurement & Inventory role will be responsible for managing procurement operations and purchasing inventory daily. This role will develop and lead direct procurement and sourcing strategy and drive change throughout multiple sites. Key responsibilities include develop relevant key metrics and standard processes implementing throughout the organization and be able to see new market trends and position business to be a leader in the industry.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
Responsible for vendor relations and negotiating
Strong advocate for the Supply Chain team throughout the business
Ability to communicate effectively with staff employees and senior management
Ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership and staff employees
Able to develop good relations and collaborate across the business
Responsible for inventory teams in four national sites
Direct large number of staff

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or other related field
5+ year of experience in business / finance analysis
3+ years of Supervisory or Management experience (including performance management functions i.e. hiring, performance evaluations, corrective action plans etc.)
Experience in a high volume pharmacy, production, inventory, or warehouse environment
Experience in managing 1,000+ SKUs
Experience in high volume Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting requirements
Advanced experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
Advanced level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
Experience with dealing with Third Party customers (Cigna)
Travel 25-35% throughout the year to the different sites 
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree
Multi facility operation experience
