Warehouse Associate-Irving, TX near DFW airport
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.

Responsibilities

Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.)
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

Requirements

3-5 years of relevant warehouse experience
Knowledge and understanding of shipping documentation; including international shipping documentation
Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 50 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders; usage of pallet jacks.

Schedule:Days 8:00am to 4:30pm $13/hour DOE
*Flexibility required on scheduled breaks & lunches due to shipping/receiving requirements

Requirements

Requirements •3-5 years of relevant warehouse experience (including 1+ year of previous lead hand experience) •Calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages. •3-5 years’ experience operating a forklift required •Shipping software – ex. FedEx TD, UPS •Knowledge and understanding of shipping documentation; including international shipping documentation •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). •Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 50 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders; usage of pallet jacks. •Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. •Strong organizational and written and oral communication skills a must •Ability to multi-task, job plan and forecast future shipping and receiving requirements will be needed
