We currently have the following position available:

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades requiring advanced specialized knowledge of material handling systems and equipment.
• Tests, inspects troubleshoots and repairs machines, equipment and/or systems in a distribution center.
• Conducts a variety of complex installation and maintenance work to prevent breakdowns and ensure proper functioning of facility, machinery, equipment and applicable systems.
• Writes and completes reports and paperwork.
• Performs special projects or duties as assigned.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Maintains safe, efficient and proper operation of a variety of distribution center equipment and systems. Performs preventive maintenance tasks and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade school with completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment including mechanical electronic. pneumatic and hydraulic control systems in a distribution environment.
• Willingness to work various shifts to meet business needs is required.
• Must be able to operate shop equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Good communication and writing skills including the ability to understand and read instructions.
