 The Vice President, Clinical Strategy & Solutioning is a clinical strategy and solutioning role that provides subject matter expertise, strategic thought leadership, and outcomes driven solutioning to internal and external stakeholders across all UHC Global businesses. You will contribute to the growth and quality objectives of UHG Global by building relationships internally and externally, assessing opportunities to enhance our ability to develop solutions that drive enhanced clinical outcomes and meet the needs of our clients and consumers. In addition, this role supports translation of the customized clinical models to enhance meaningful product development.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Define and solution for clinical service delivery models and strategies to support client, consumer and market expectations, specifically
Understand client, market and competitive trends related to clinical service delivery
Define broad-scale project scope, business strategy and deployment plan for initiatives that impact, change or create a new clinical service delivery model
Provide C-Suite and Global Leader level presentations of UHG products and Services
Identify inefficiencies in global healthcare  delivery systems and recommend solutions
Represent UHG products and services in a comprehensive and integrated value story
Rapidly  assess and consult with clients and their respective healthcare delivery system partners and identify, connect and develop clinical solutions to meet those needs
Development of value proposition and communication materials for both internal and external audiences related to the development of clinical service delivery models
Provide strategic direction and solutioning for complex client issues related to clinical service, work with cross functional teams to bring solutions and changes to the clinical service delivery model in-line with client expectations
Act as a clinical operations subject matter expert to product and operational staff across UHG Global

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Masters level education in a clinical field, either nursing or public health preferred.
10+years of experience in clinical program service delivery, managed care programs and services, operational problem solving, process development and consensus building roles in a direct managed care environment, including multi-functional departments required
10+ years of external client facing or customer facing experience required, consulting and or selling clinical programs, both domestic and International
10+ years’ experience working with C-suite level executives in managed care and or the healthcare delivery system
10+ years management level experience
Ability to travel nationally and Internationally 75% travel required
Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for both internal and external audiences
