Primary Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements documents
Develop technical specifications and design documents
Program analytics to detect fraud, waste, abuse and error in healthcare claims

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience programming healthcare payment integrity analytics and working with large data sets
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience in medical coding concepts (CPT, ICD - 9 / 10 coding, HCPCS and DRGs)
Advanced level of proficiency in SQL programming
3+ years of professional experience in a large, enterprise environment
Preferred Qualifications:

Medical claim billing/coding experience or certification (AAPC / CPC)
Oracle PL / SQL coding experience
2+ years of experience leading analytics development team (3+ direct reports)
